The system takes the receiving side and holds until the rate normalises. Halted 14 Aug 2026 after 31 live trades: order placement on Hyperliquid has a ~690ms server-side floor, and at the moment a signal fires the book moves 23–29bp inside that window, which is enough to consume the edge.
